Thank you very much for a well written article about my daughter, Kei. I can still remember the day the application was due and she didn't return home that whole night. I was worried, I had to send my nephews to Xavier in the middle of the night to ask the security guards to find out from the administrators her whereabouts. Kei has medical conditions so that always worries me whether she was sick during school and was taken to the hospital but I wasn't informed about it? All sorts of things went through my head. I had been calling the office phone but because it was late in the night, no one answered the phone. I remember at that time, I didn't have any internet at home, so I couldn't resort to that. She also didn't have a cell phone for me to call. Thank God for my family, I summoned few of Kei's male cousins to go to Xavier's campus and look for her. I was disappointed that I wasn't informed of what was happening. But, it all paid off as we learned of the news that she got the scholarship.
